At intermediate level, language skills are developed systematically. The range of language functions developed through listening and speaking skills training is extended. Reading and writing skills development begins to focus on academic contexts.

Grammar and vocabulary taught are tested within the reading, listening and speaking tests and in the writing portfolio.

In order to pass the course and move up to the next level you must have a C- grade (50%) or better in each of the skill areas (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking).
