This paper is the second of the two compulsory papers in the Diploma in Postgraduate Preparation - Pre-Masters (DipPP) that enables students to obtain the English language skills that they need to succeed in postgraduate studies. Students will further develop their English language skills, including enhanced understanding and interrogation of academic texts, and more in-depth research and referencing techniques.

Classess will be delivered via Zoom and in person for offshore and onshore students respectively. Students must attend all classes. During class, students will work through activities individually, in pairs, and in groups. Students are also expected to complete a number of self-study tasks outside classroom hours.
