Requirements for your internship:

  • It must directly relate to your WMS major(s) or minor(s) subject area
  • You must have a designated mentor at your organisation to oversee your work
  • You must complete a minimum of 110 working hours in your internship
  • Before the start of the trimester, you must complete steps 1 - 4 in the tabs above

By the end of week two an internship host organisation should be agreed and the student able to work.

Please note: Until you have an approved host, no work will be accepted.

The host organisation will agree in advance to provide supervision and to submit to the paper convenor an evaluation report on the intern’s work. The student is responsible for submitting to MyWIL an agreement form signed by the host of the internship.

The intern will submit over the semester academic assignments reporting and reflecting on the progress and the contribution the intern has made - refer to assessments and the schedule for more information.

The intern will sign a written commitment to keep confidential all information that belongs to the organisation.

In case of problems, it is the responsibility of the intern to involve the paper convenor immediately.

No credit can be given to work done by the student prior to signing in to WSAFE396.
